Land and Water Initiative

In 2016, CBFN partnered with the Land Trust Alliance to launch the Chesapeake Bay Land and Water Initiative to deploy an integrated and innovative approach to supporting permanent land protection, watershed restoration and public policy. This collaboratively funded and managed initiative provided a blended suite of assistance to build new and effective partnerships between land trusts, watershed groups, local government and water utilities and others to advance placed based strategies to accelerate land conservation and watershed protection.  For more information contact Megan McPherson, CBFN and visit the Land and Water Initiative website.
