CBFN Briefing: Conowingo Dam Settlement

After several years, the Maryland Department of the Environment and Exelon Generation Company have reached a settlement on the relicensing of Conowingo Dam. The dam has been relicensed for 50-years with $250 million earmarked for environmental impact projects.

We have scheduled a briefing with Waterkeepers Chesapeake and the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper to discuss the settlement, next steps, and the needs that remain. We hope you will join us on November 26th at 11am for a 1-hour briefing call.
