Webinar: CBFN Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Guide - Next Steps

The Chesapeake Bay Funders Network has embarked on a journey to incorporate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice into environmental grant-making and initiated the journey with the development of a DEIJ guide; produced in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Trust and the Choose Clean Water Coalition.  The draft guide and its recommendations were released and presented to CBFN at our May 2019 Meeting in Baltimore.

At that time, funders agreed they needed some time to review the guide and discuss how CBFN can best address the recommendations.   The CBFN Steering committee would like to schedule a meeting with any interested funder to review the recommendations and propose actions for how CBFN could respond.  These proposed actions would be shared with the Steering Committee and then presented to CBFN members and partners at our Fall Meeting in Richmond, VA for additional thoughts and feedback, hopefully building momentum moving forward.
